Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol.2
So did you think one rose golden brush set from Zoeva was enough? Think again!

Previously I purchased the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol.2 (check it out here) and fell in love with it instantly. So with my next pay day money, I had to purchase the rose golden eye collection also!

Just like the Zoeva brush set, the eye collection features this beautiful powder nude handle which compliments the rose gold perfectly. Not only do they look super pretty on my dressing table alongside my other brush set, but they are great quality brushes and feel so soft against my eyelids.

These are really amazing brushes, beautifully made, and to top it off an affordable price! Zoeva quotes that this brush set is the key to fairytale beautiful eyes, and who wouldn't agree with that? Especially if it makes you feel all princessy!

SMELL: PAUL SMITH ROSE EAU DE PARFUM

Paul Smith Rose Eau De Parfum Paul Smith Rose Eau De Parfum
Currently loving this perfume by Paul Smith, smells so refreshingly floral and elegant. Perfect to wear throughout the summer!

I first smelt this beauty whilst travelling on holiday to Greece in the duty-free section, and I fell in love with it instantly. Some people mistake Rose scents for older women (and to be honest, sometimes I do too), but this scent compliments all ages!

With extracts of a rose at its heart, blended with Turkish rose oil, green tea and touches of cedar. This is a true feminine fragrance that smells beautiful and always leaves me feeling refreshed throughout the day.

This is my go-to everyday scent at the moment. It's light and not too overpowering, but the smell lingers with you all day which is a bonus! At only £22.00 (HERE) for a 100ml bottle, which also includes a pretty floral carry pouch, it's a bargain!

REVIEW: ZOEVA ROSE GOLDEN LUXURY SET VOL.2

P&P: Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol.2
I have heard so many good reviews about the previous Zoeva rose golden brushes, that when they released the vol.2 edition featuring a sleek powder nude design... I had to buy them!

Oh my goodness, they are so pretty and the rose gold complements the blush pink/powder nude perfectly! Not only do they look super pretty on my dressing table, they are great quality brushes and feel so soft against the skin, which is a win for anyone with a sensitive complexion like me.

These are really amazing brushes, beautifully made, and to top it off an affordable price! Some would call it the brushes of dreams, and I would totally agree with that!

The Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol.2 includes:

  • Zoeva 104 Buffer Face Brush
  • Zoeva 109 Luxe Face Paint
  • Zoeva 126 Luxe Cheek Finish
  • Zoeva 226 Smudger
  • Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease
  • Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky Shader
  • Zoeva 317 Wing Liner
  • Zoeva 322 Brow Line

The 104 Buffer Face Brush would have to be my all time favourite from this collection, just because it is soo soft and blends in my foundation really well. But the rest of the set are as equally soft and do their job purposes exceptionally.

HOW I DEAL WITH STRESS

Dealing with stress

This year has been a rocky rollercoaster for me. What with starting a full-time job, dealing with uni coursework, and all the little hiccups that have followed me along the way, just brings me with constant stress... and let me tell you, it's not great!

So here are a few things that keep me positive to deal with stress at home and at work...

1) DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

Whatever makes you happy, do it! Watching a film, going for a walk, eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream, you name it... do it!

As the majority of my friends are away at university or work full-time like myself, I don't get to see them as often as I would like. So when we do get to meet, it always makes me happy and I look forward to it the most.

2) TAKE TIME OUT FOR YOURSELF

It's all well and good to think of others, but what about yourself? When was the last time you had a bit of 'me' time?

I am one of those people who always puts others before themselves, not like it's a bad thing, but sometimes I just need to take time out for myself, be alone, read a book, and just enjoy my own space.

3) HAVE THEM LITTLE GUILTY PLEASURES

By them guilty pleasures I mean have that comfort food like chocolate or takeaways (mmm Indian!), watch that film only you like, have your music blasting out loud, sing in the shower etc. These little guilty pleasures all add up to our happiness, and when your happy our stress melts away to the back of our mind!

My guilty pleasure would definitely be eating takeaways and having a nice long relaxing bath. Sure my dad moans with how long I am spending in the bathroom, but when it equates to thinking you are a mermaid, who cares?

4) TRY AND STAY ORGANISED

I am pretty good at being organised because I am an OCD freak... but when I am particularly stressed I notice that things fall off the radar and just makes the stress build up more.

Try to plan your schedule for the day using a calendar to keep on track with meetings and social events. Prioritise tasks to do the most important ones first to get them out of the way, so you won't be stressing about these for long. Remember to take breaks! Short breaks throughout the day relax your mind so you are ready to tackle the next adventure!

5) WHEN IN DOUBT, SEEK HELP!

I find this the hardest tip to abide by (only because I have anxiety and struggle with asking for help), but trust me it helps so much to just talk to someone about your problems. Whether it's a friend, colleague, family member or a doctor; remember you are not alone facing these problems, and someone out there can give you the advice to deal with them.

Recently I was struggling so bad with stress at work that it made me really ill and I had a bad outbreak with acne. By seeing a doctor, I was able to talk about my stress, get advice on how to stay calm and was prescribed medication to help treat my acne which only made me feel more down and self-conscious. I recognised that I needed to seek help and not take the world on by myself, and I think that's the most important message here... we all try and be independent and be the best of who we are, but just sometimes when we need help, we shouldn't be afraid to ask for it.

So that's it, my top 5 tips on dealing with stress. Hopefully, these tips will enlighten you to 'try' and deal with stress also, as they have really helped me out this year.

MY CURRENT SUMMER LIP

current-summer-lip
To celebrate the lovely hot weather we have been having in the UK recently, I am going to share with you my top 6 lip products that I am currently loving this summer.

LEFT TO RIGHT:

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick 110, MAC All Fired up Retro Matte Lipstick, Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter 027 Juicy Papaya, Laura Geller Love Me Dew Moisturizing Lip Crayon, Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick 38, Bourjois Paris Color Boost Lip Crayon 07 Proudly Naked

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick 110:

I really love this pop bright orangy red colour by Rimmel. It makes my lips stand out and the orange tone within this red makes it perfect for summer. This is my go to lip on a night out and it has really great lasting power, which is a must when you are sipping cocktails away in the sun!

MAC All Fired up Retro Matte Lipstick:

Another night out lippy from MAC. This lovely shade of retro red goes great with a tan and a white dress/blouse. I don't really suit harsh red lipstick, so this shade is perfect for my skin tone as the pink tones mute down the red to perfectly to give this vintage colour. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Yet again this has great lasting power, but what do you expect from a MAC product?

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter 027 Juicy Papaya:

I have actually had this lip butter for a while now and it always makes an appearance on my lips every summer. Very moisturizing hence the term lip butter, but great colour yet again. This time I am sporting a neutral pink, but you can darken the shade to form a nice coral with more coats. I usually wear this one to work as it's subtle enough to get away with, and as it's a lip butter I can just keep applying it throughout the day when it wears off.

Laura Geller Love Me Dew Moisturizing Lip Crayon:

I received this lip crayon in a Laura Geller set I purchased online. To be honest, I was more excited about the blusher and highlighter that was featured in the set than the lip crayon. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how pigmented the lip crayon was and the lovely colour match against my skin. I took this lip crayon with me on holiday to Greece back in April, and it was my staple accessory every day whilst I was out there. Very moisturizing and the colour stay is amazing for a lip crayon. Totally would recommend!!

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick 38:

I have so many neutral pink lip butters in my lip collection, but I didn't really have a go to neutral lipstick. That was until recently when I purchased the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 38. This is a lovely light pink colour with great lasting power. I tend to wear this during the day to give my lips a pop of colour, but not so much during the night as I like to adventure onto darker lip shades.

Bourjois Paris Color Boost Lip Crayon 07 Proudly Naked:

A favorite of mine from last summer has featured again this year. Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon's were the rage back in 2014 and still are a year later. I love this neutral pink, very pigmented and moisturizing as are all the other shades in this collection. I love how this colour is very subtle, and you could question whether I was wearing any lip product at all. So it is perfect for an every day chuck on lippy with added moisturizing benefits!

So what's your go-to lip this summer? Are you sporting darker or lighter shades? Lipstick or Lip butters? Leave your comments in the box below.

Say hi to Peach and Pjs (Awkward first post)

Awkward First Post
Let’s get this awkward first post out the way and done with so the cringing session can stop! *cringe*…

Anyway Hi, I’m April! The blogger behind Peach & PJs who hopes to entertain her readers with beauty tips, style inspiration and snapshots from my personal life.

I am 21 years old and my birthday is ironically in April (hence the name). I have a slight addiction to anything floral and I believe that good things come to those who wait. I am from Kent, South East England UK and currently studying a teaching degree at university.

After years of creating 'various' blogging accounts just to design my own branding for themes/templates and logos, I have finally plucked up the courage to start blogging as a hobby and create my own little space online.

Feel free to follow me on my journey through Peach & PJs, and hopefully we can look back on this post years to come and laugh with how awkward it seems.

*cringe over - for now!*
